Atlanta may be the grand finale for The FedEx Cup, but for a city that's always "getting there", it's a tough act to following the iconic cities of New York, Boston and Chicago.  But Atlanta is also a visually captivating city, with the modern architecture of many new projects developing a nice conrast with the classic design of "Old Atlanta".  So pour yourself a big glass of Coca-Cola and enjoy these photographs from my Atlanta series over on the Matre Gallery site.

There a lot of "action" at East Lake today, with Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker and Tiger Woods visiting the press tent this morning, followed by Tim Finchem's press conference at 3:00 p.m.  Read the transcripts here.  The Ultimate Tour Clinic is also going on in place of the pro-am this morning, and the Payne Stewart Award ceremony comes at 1:30 p.m.
